Overview

The Australian Government works together with State and Territory governments and the higher education sector to assure the quality of the Australian higher education system.

Common accreditation processes and criteria across all States and Territories, and the independent evaluation of these processes through audit is used to ensure that higher education providers (providers) are meeting the high standards of quality and ethical practice expected of the Australian higher education sector.
