About the Australian Maritime College
The Australian Maritime College (AMC)
is a dual sector federal institution offering higher education undergraduate and postgraduate awards, VTE qualifications and short commercial courses. AMC has two campuses in Tasmania, in Launceston and Beauty Point, and has recently established the National Centre for Marine and Coastal Conservation (NCMCC) in Victoria.

AMC has substantial research-related infrastructure, which includes a cavitation tunnel, towing tank, model test basin, an integrated marine simulator and a fleet of vessels.
Student accommodation is available at both Tasmanian campuses. Assistance can be provided for finding accommodation at the National Centre of Marine and Coastal Conservation.
