About the International College of Hotel Management
International College of Hotel Management
Established 1992 in partnership with Swiss Hotel Association (SHA) and the South Australian Government, the International College of Hotel Management (ICHM) prepares students for a successful career at the top end of the international hotel industry.
Programs:
- Swiss Hotel Association Vocational Graduate Diploma of International Hotel Management
Diploma of International Hotel Management (VET FEE HELP available for this program)
- ICHM Batchelor of International Hotel Management (FEE-HELP is available for this program)
This "Going to Uni" website covers Bachelor Degree, the fourth year of the ICHM program. Most school leavers will enrol in the SHA Diploma program for three years before they commence the Bachelor Degree. In the SHA Diploma students spend 6 months each year studying full-time on the campus; the second six months of each year they are sent for Internships. This can be in Australia or overseas. On campus, students study practical subjects combined with business studies applicable to hospitality environment as well as other related industries. All new students live on-campus in villa style appartments.
The degree level course is designed for those seeking the best positions in an ever competitive marketplace.
ICHM graduates are on every continent enjoying successful careers; working as supervisors and specialist through to senior and general manager.

Minimum Entrance Requirements
- Studies in International Hotel Management equivalent to an Advanced Diploma or Swiss Hotel Association Diploma from an approved school.
- Completion of 1400 hours of approved industry experience.
- Fluency in English (IELTS 6.0 academic with not less than 5.5 in any one band).
- Fluency in a second language (Eurocentre level 6 or equivalent)
