The Institute of counselling
has been providing quality education in counselling for 39 years. Our courses are accredited in Higher Education and we offer Fee-Help assistance.
The Institute aims to provide students with a creative learning environment and a comprehensive foundation in counselling theory and practice integrated with both personal and professional development.
Our graduates are highly regarded by professionals and supervisors in the field who come into contact with them through the practicum work based units.
The Institute is known for its specialised group work, and for its emphasis on personal development and human relationship skills. This form of learning assists our students to gain the interpersonal skills that will assist their relationships beyond the professional sphere of work.
Our lecturers and academic staff are all practitioners working in the field and bring a wealth of experience and clinical knowledge to the their teaching.
The Institute also covers the relevant industry standards set by the Psychotherapy & Counselling Federation of Australia PACFA.
