About Jansen Newman Institute Pty Ltd
The Jansen Newman
Institute has graduated Counsellors and Psychotherapists now for over 25 years. The Institute provides dynamic, highly experiential and academically rigorous counsellor and psychotherapist training programs.
- Bachelor of Counselling and Human Change
- Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy
These programs are designed to give students the expertise to work in counselling and psychotherapy, including management and supervisory positions in organisational settings.
Each program gives students skills and tools which can be used in both professional and personal life.
Uniquely, our students learn in our own clinics with real clients and this is a major difference between Jansen Newman and other training providers.
Students also learn from professional practitioners, who combine clinical experience with academic excellence.
If you are new to tertiary study or are returning after an extended period, you will be assisted in your study through a wide range of personal, professional and academic supports at the Institute.
Our goal is to facilitate and encourage your personal development while giving you skills to be an effective professional Counsellor and Psychotherapist. Short courses are presented throughout the year. They are held over weekends, over a semester or as our Summer School program in January each year.
