Located in Sydney’s central business district, the college offers small classes, individual attention, qualified and committed industry practitioners, extensive industry contacts, work experience and the latest industry software programs.
Macleay offers higher education programs in Advertising, Journalism and Business (majors in accounting, marketing, management, event management, public relations and sports management). Graduates of the advertising and journalism programs also have the additional option of continuing a further 12 months to gain a communications degree run in conjunction with Southern Cross University.
Advertising graduates have gained positions with advertising agencies, radio and television stations, newspaper and magazines publishers, digital communications agencies, online websites and public relations agencies.
Journalism graduates have gained positions with metropolitan and regional newspapers, magazines, television stations, radio stations, online news websites and public relations agencies.
Business graduates have gained positions with stock broking firms, merchant banks, accountants, insurance companies, pastoral companies, wineries, marketing firms, sporting clubs, national and state sporting organisations and associations, sponsorship companies, sporting venues, public relations agencies, fashion marketing agencies, client management agencies, event management agencies, conference organisers, and fund raising and charity organisations.

Minimum Entrance Requirements
(1) Students currently sitting for the Higher School Certificate or those who have completed the HSC or its equivalent in recent years; OR
(2) Graduates who have completed university courses and who want to add a professional qualification to their degree; OR
(3) Mature age people who have work experience and who want to change, re-orient or upgrade their careers.
