Queensland University of Technology (QUT)
is a highly successful, energetic and innovative university of 40,000 students. With a focus on being ‘a university for the real world’, QUT maintains close links with industry, delivers courses with a mix of theory and practical study and employs many practising professionals as lecturers and tutors.

The university was founded in 1989, but its predecessor institutions served the needs of Queensland industry for 140 years. Today, QUT has 5000 international students, graduates and alliances all over the world, and a global outlook.
QUT is a member of the Australian Technology Network (ATN) – an influential alliance of five prominent Australian universities of technology representing each of the mainland states of Australia.
