About the Sydney Institute of Business and Technology
The Sydney Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT) 
is a private college, offering a Certificate IV in University Foundation Studies (Pre-University) and Higher Education Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas in Commerce, Business Administration, Computing, Arts and Communication
SIBT operates on two Macquarie University sites, the North Ryde campus with beautiful parkland grounds just 15kms from Sydney’s centre, shortly to be connected with an on-campus railway station and train connection to the city, and the Macquarie City campus, where selected Higher Education Diploma courses are available.
SIBT is one of a number of private colleges worldwide wholly owned by Navitas Ltd a public company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
Since 1996, SIBT and Macquarie University have worked together to provide the leading pathway program in Australia. With over 3,000 students, SIBT has become a popular choice for both Australian and International students, providing an alternative entry to university studies and a guaranteed pathway into the second year of a Bachelor degree at Macquarie University (subject to achieving a GPA of 1.5).
