About the University of Western Sydney
As a major urban university, the University of Western Sydney
boasts six unique campuses spread throughout the Greater Western Sydney
(GWS) region. GWS is a global centre for trade, innovation and learning with the third largest economy in Australia behind the Sydney CBD and Melbourne. Its population is the fastest growing in Australia and more than 150 of the nation's top 500 companies are located within GWS. The multicultural community of GWS is one of the most diverse in the world with over 100 nationalities calling GWS home.
Each campus of UWS offers a unique learning environment. They all share the same friendly, communal atmosphere that makes UWS a great place to study, make friends and gain real-world training and expertise in your chosen field. UWS Campuses are located in Bankstown, Blacktown (Nirimba Education Precinct), Campbelltown, Hawkesbury, Parramatta and Penrith. Some of our specialist facilities include multi-million dollar performance venues, law 'moot' courts, residential colleges, Olympic-sized swimming pools, medical facilities and wet labs, a health clinic, a food processing pilot plant, mechatronics facilities and much more.

Scholarship Information
UWS recognises and rewards students who demonstrate outstanding academic ability, leadership and community service through the University's merit-based scholarships and recently launched Asprire Leadership Program. UWS also offers a wide range of scholarships which reflect the University's strong commitment to providing access and opportunity to students of Greater Western Sydney who might otherwise struggle to gain a university education.
UWS also awards donor-funded scholarships, providing support for students based on both academic achievements and equity considerations.
