About Tabor College Adelaide

Tabor College Incorporated trading as Tabor College AdelaideYou are now leaving Going to Uni is a private multidenominational Christian Education Centre. The College provides students with the opportunity of quality higher education, delivered in the context of a Christian educational community and within the framework of a Christian ethos. The majority of students enrolled with the College are undertaking higher education courses, but vocational education and training courses are also offered. Programs are offered in a variety of disciplines, including teacher education, counselling, ministry/theology, intercultural studies, performing arts, humanities and youth work. Higher education awards range from associate degrees to a professional doctorate. On-campus, distance-education and mixed mode courses are available.

The College’s teaching graduates are in much demand for positions in both government and non-government schools. Graduates in other areas are serving in a wide range of professional and ministry roles both in Australia and overseas.

Tabor College Adelaide commenced in 1979, as the result of a vision. It began as a small part-time Bible College and has now become a reputable higher education institution. The College operates from stately heritage buildings only 3 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD on a main arterial route. For many years the College has been a pioneer in the development of private higher education in Australia, seeking to increase the range of accredited study options available for students and to gain equity for students in the public and private sectors. Today Tabor College Adelaide contributes to the choice and diversity available to students in the Australian higher education sector.
