About Holmesglen Institute of TAFE
Holmesglen
is the largest TAFE institute in Victoria and one of Australia’s most accomplished providers of vocational education and training. Each year Holmesglen delivers over 600 courses, across 11 different study areas. The Institute annually attracts over 50,000 enrolments, including some 4,000 enrolments from international students and delivers over 10.5 million hours of training.
Holmesglen is one of the first TAFE Institutes in Australia to offer degrees. Holmesglen's degrees are characterised by the focus on applied problem and project based learning principles. Holmesglen has worked with industry to develop unique and well-rounded qualifications that offer students sound theoretical and practical learning underpinned by industry input.
Holmesglen offers an innovative delivery methodology, which is a distinct advantage over the delivery of degrees at universities. The main advantage of the delivery is the applied nature of the teaching. Courses are structured to include lectures, tutorials, a simulated work environment and an opportunity for practical placement.
Teaching staff are academically qualified and have highly developed industry knowledge and contacts that support the delivery of the program. Small class sizes allow for personalised teaching within a supportive environment. If you are committed and motivated to study we can assist you to optimise your performance.
Excellent, modern facilities plus an active student recreation and activities department provide for an enriched learning experience.
