About JMC Academy
The JMC Academy
was established in 1982 to meet the demand for qualified professionals in the multi-faceted Creative Industries.
Since its inception, the JMC Academy has grown to become Australia’s leading Entertainment Technology education provider, offering Diplomas, Associate Degrees and Degrees in the Creative Industries.
The JMC Academy offers programs of study in Audio Engineering and Sound Production, Digital Media and Animation, Digital Television, Entertainment Business and Popular Music and Performance.
We are committed to providing the best education for students in order for them to perform well in their chosen careers. Our students are guided through their studies by a network of committed professionals and it is the integration of skill and knowledge that distinguishes JMC from many other colleges.
JMC Academy campuses are fitted with state-of-the art facilities to ensure students reap maximum benefit through practical education and application.
The JMC Academy’s programs combine both theory and practice to ensure that graduates have the key elements to succeed in the industry.
In addition, written within the courses are key integration projects whereby all faculties are required to work together, simulating the real world. An example of this is where Management students manage Music students as well as Animation, Television and Audio students to produce a song and music video.
The Entertainment and Media Industries are growing and it is our aim to produce market competitive and commercially astute graduates who are able to succeed in any facet they choose within these industries.
