Australia's first national synchrotron – a revolutionary scientific facility that will become a crucial tool for research scientists - is located on Monash's doorstep and is scheduled to open in 2007.

Monash academics publish some 5000 research works annually and the university has research links with more than 110 institutions throughout Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East.

With a wide range of courses and a variety of study modes supported by excellent student services and an array of social and recreational activities, Monash is well positioned to meet your needs and expectations of university life.
