Course fees

As part of the higher education reforms, the individual providers will have some flexibility in determining the course fees they will be able to charge for both Commonwealth supported and fee-paying places. There may be significant differences in the contribution amounts and tuition fees being charged by different providers. Providers will publish the course costs on their website and/or handbook.

For more information on the student contributions and tuition fees.

Additional expenses

Course fees are not the only expense students will incur as part of their studies. Additional expenses include:
  • student union fees
  • costs for text books, study material
  • accommodation and general living expenses
  • travel expenses
  • charges for services incidental to their course.
