Paying your tuition fees
If you are a fee paying student then your higher education provider will set the tuition fees for your units of study. The Commonwealth does not contribute to the cost of your units of study.
Tuition fees for specific units of study may vary for different courses of study. Refer to your provider's schedule of fees for specific information.

If you are eligible for FEE-HELP you may request a loan to help pay all or a part of your tuition fees.

Receiving a FEE-HELP loan
If you receive a FEE-HELP loan, the Commonwealth will:
- lend you the amount of your tuition fee which has not been paid by the end of the census date
- pay this amount directly to your provider on your behalf.
You may choose to pay the tuition fee for some of the units in your course of study. You simply pay the tuition fee to your provider before the census date in the manner specified by your provider. You will not incur a FEE-HELP debt for these units as there will be no unpaid amount for the Commonwealth to pay on your behalf.
