The main benefits of being Commonwealth supported are:
- the Commonwealth contributes substantially to the cost of your education;
- the Commonwealth limits the student contribution that your higher education provider can charge you;
- you may be eligible for HECS-HELP assistance for your student contribution;
- you may be eligible for a Commonwealth Scholarship; and
- you may be eligible for an OS-HELP loan to assist you to undertake study overseas.
