CHESSN & myUniAssist

This section explains what information is available on the myUniAssist website. Stage 1 of the myUniAssist website is designed to help you monitor your ordinary Student Learning Entitlement (SLE) and FEE-HELP balances. By the end of 2007, you will also be able to obtain information on your use of OS-HELP.  In future, information will also be available on the use of Commonwealth supported units of study and associated use of Student Learning Entitlement and HECS-HELP.

The Commonwealth Higher Education Student Support Number (CHESSN) issued by your higher education provider will be required to access your information on the secure myUniAssist site. You can find your CHESSN on your Commonwealth Assistance Notice (CAN) that was sent to you by your provider.

Interested prospective students, parents, teachers and members of the public who are not able to access the secure part of the myUniAssist site may find the site introduction useful to help them understand the nature of the information held on myUniAssist and its relevance to the student.
